Think of objects like car radios. When you buy a car you might not know what kind of radio you would like to put in it. Obviously the companies making the radios don't know either which cars their radios will be put into. This is why they have to make standardised connectors both in the cars and in the radios. This makes the radio an object, so that the car's operation, colour, number of gears, etc. is indifferent to it.
MVC which is model/view/control perspective programming is the advanced version of the object oriented programming. Using the MVC perspective we break down the objects into files so that they can be managed easier. Using our car radio analogy it would mean that we can put any front board on the radio. On different front boards the buttons and the display will probably be arranged differently and have different colour and design. Naturally the front board however will not effect the way the radio is connected to the car and that the radio is playing CDs.
